I Must Be Old...

...because I do not see the appeal of the Jonas brothers. I know that I'm not alone, but many of my friends are into classic and idependent rock, so together we are a bit of a biased group. But even as a fan of The Beatles, one of the biggest pop groups of all time, I don't understand the appeal of the Jonas brothers. Attractive? In a way, sure. Are they sexually scandalous? Not really. Long hair is the norm now, they dress like safe, normal kids and claim to be chaste (sure). To me, they are another boy band who may not last, they do not show the potential and the talen of pop groups past. In five years one might be gay, the other will have a reality show and one a horrendous fashion line. But the press never thought the Beatles or the Rolling Stones would last as long as they did, so only time will tell their true talent and staying power, no? Until then, I hate Seventeen with a passion.
