The Proust Questionnaire

My Dilemma: Who addresses Hispanic style? Do they think we have none? The Americans, the French, the British, the Italians all are notorious...but there is more to las chicas latinas than flamenco dresses and snappy heels.
My Solution: I answer those questions you never even considered.

Do Hispanic women wear a lot of color?
Let's stick to Spain, the Caribbean and Mexico. And in all those places, color is everywhere, from your toes to your panties to your eyelids. If you go to these places, like Mexico and Puerto Rico, color is everywhere. Your wardrobe might as well follow suit.
Do Hispanic women wear lots of layers?
It depends...not on the average day, but probably a bit more on Sunday. (Church.)
Do Hispanic women often have long hair?
We may not all have long hair, but whatever the length, we devote ourselves to it. Hair is something to be proud of, so make it shiny, perfect, and sexy.
Is the general style more solid colors or prints?
Prints. Any print, really, from prim polka dots to naughty leopard. And that's in the same outfit.
Are scarves huge in winter?
Maybe in, uh, the mountains of Mexico...but generally speaking, there isn't even a winter in which to wear said scarves.
What types of bottoms to Hispanic women prefer?
Anything and everything. We like to make statements and generally look good, so theres a lot of tight-jeans-little-skirts going on.
Whats the deal with flats vs. heels?
HEELS. Are you seriously asking that?
Should I start smoking to be "in" with the culture?
Here's a map. *pulls out map and ruler, points with ruler* France. Spain. France. Spain. Different countries. Aight?
What would a Hispanic woman never wear?
Black to a party, unless the theme or dress code called for it. And what kind of Hispanic party would that be?
What does a Hispanic woman always wear?
Either...a. her rosary b. her cross c. her gold hoops d. all three
Is it true that all Hispanic woman can dance?
Yes. And those who claim they can't are only shy.
What is the most important aspect of Hispanic culture and clothing?
I can't honestly say that these answers are true.
